Blazin Chicken & Gyro in Jersey City, NJ is looking for an energetic and friendly Cashier to join our fast-paced restaurant team! Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately at the counter or drive-thru
• Process cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently using a POS system
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house and cashier station
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with restocking supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and making change
• Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
